You Are Not Alone In This (no.43)
Hand-collaged, vintage paper and ephemera that hold their own history, past stories, with one powerful message, YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS. Even though these past couple years can make us feel that way; believing all the horrible seems to only be in our basket.
I've been creating this series, slowly, for some years now, a few or a dozen at a time, sending them out into the world: They now live with a human like you, a person you probably don't yet know, but I bet you have a lot of feelings in common. They might even say to you, "you are not alone in this."
This piece is no. 43 of what will eventually be 100 pieces of artwork with this message. I hope to someday connect all those people together. For now, someone in New Zealand and someone in Wisconsin and someone in Tennessee and someone in California and someone in France and eventually one hundred someones, somewhere, are sharing this message with you.
